£26,000 - £30,000 per annum

Hours of work Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4pm and Friday 7.30am – 3pm (39hrs per week)

Are you an experienced Engineering Apprentice or time served within Manufacturing- looking for a new opportunity? Would you like to work for a successful, Global Manufacturing Business ?

The Role
You will be conducting internal audits, conduct and record calibration activities and be responsible for measurement and inspection of turned, ground and assembled components.

Key Responsibilities –

• Inspection of in-process and completed components within turning/grinding and assembly departments
• Goods-in inspection and documentation (materials, components and subcontract)
• Conduct internal audits
• Assist with machine trials

Required Skills –

• Ability to read and use manual inspection equipment including micrometers, Vernier’s and protractors
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Good understanding of Word and Excel
• Highly motivated
• Attention to detail

Experience & Education

• Qualified to HNC level or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline
• Completed Engineering Apprenticeship
• Internal Auditing qualification
• Time Served in either quality focussed role or within manufacturing

Salary & Benefits

• Salary between £26,000 & £30,000 dependent on Skills & Experience
• Benefits; 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (FTE), pension scheme, private health care option, cycle to work scheme, free coffee/tea.
